Kelsey was born and raised in Chester County, PA. From an early age, she loved sports and originally dreamed of becoming a sports commentator. Growing up, she participated in a variety of sports, including swimming, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, cross-country running, and skiing. In high school, she discovered her talent for lacrosse and decided to focus on the sport, eventually going on to play in college.

After graduating, Kelsey moved to the United Kingdom, where she spent two and a half years coaching girls’ lacrosse while continuing to compete in women’s senior leagues. Upon returning stateside, she moved to Breckenridge, Colorado, to pursue another lifelong passion—skiing. Starting out as a ski instructor, her focus on fitness turned to more outdoor activities. She later opened a small scooter rental business and was considering returning to school for an MBA when she accepted a position as a ski patroller.

That experience sparked her interest in emergency medicine and ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in nursing. She moved back to the East Coast to attend nursing school and went on to work at several hospitals throughout the Philly area. She is currently a full-time doctoral student pursuing her degree to become a nurse anesthetist, and credits CFC with helping her keep her sanity during school! She’s grateful to be part of the CFC community and enjoys training alongside people who motivate her to keep showing up, both inside and outside the gym.
