Biography

Dan grew up on a small farm in Southern NJ, head buried in many books. It wasn’t until college that Dan found a sport he was passionate about as a walk-on lightweight for the Rutgers University crew team. With his team, he placed in multiple regional and divisional championships and in 2010 qualified for the National Team. The dream of representing the US faded as he had a sidelining back injury, yet the passion for rowing still remained.

He has coached at Bishop Eustace, Wilmington Youth, Baldwin, and Temple University, is a USRowing Certified Level 2 Coach, and became a Senior Chief National Referee.

Ever the work in progress, Dan has continued to develop as an EMT, Combat Medic, educator, and L1 CrossFit Coach and remains passionate about sharing what he has learned with others.
