One of our main core values here at CrossFit Conshohocken is “One Team”. We set out to be able to offer high quality coaching, as well as health and fitness solutions all under one roof regardless of an individuals goals, or background. We’ve seen this come to fruition on many levels with our core CrossFit offering, custom programming and nutrition coaching, as well as private training and workshops for CrossFitters, competitors and weight lifters of all kinds. One of the holes in our game, was helping folks who were injured or otherwise trying to optimize their body for a given activity or sport. In the past, we’ve outsourced physical therapy, body work or mobility. Recently we were lucky enough to have Steve Maze, moonlighting here and lending a hand on weekends as an in house PT. Today I am happy to announce that we are leveling up, and will have a full time offering for physical therapy right onsite!
You may have stumbled into the “PT room” looking for some chalk, or to hear Coach Travis laying down tracks for a new album. That was fun, but its time we make use of the space we have and add another professional to the team. Starting in June, Josh Finley will be occupying the space and setting up his physical therapy practice, “Movement Matters”. I had the pleasure of meeting with Josh a handful of times and the Coaches and I were really impressed. He understands CrossFit, what we do and why, he’s a down to earth kind of guy with tons of experience and we think he and his practice will fit in nicely with what we’re building. The next few weeks we’ll be introducing Josh to the community and he’ll be settling in and setting up the practice. We can’t wait for you to meet Josh, in the meantime, here is some background information about him.
