Emmy has always loved some friendly competition from sports. She was a competitive gymnast, played ice hockey for 12 years and has now been dedicated to the CrossFit community for 10 years. She’s always been inspired by movement and being active outside, whether it’s camping, hiking, laying on the beach, or gardening. She loves to dance (think Elaine in Seinfeld) to all kinds of music, bake bread, and foster the cutest puppies. She grew up in the area, went to West Chester University and graduated with her BS in Psychology, took a victory lap and ended up with a Master’s in Higher Education. Emmy took some time to drink beer and eat ice cream and indulged by working at a brewery and at Bassett’s ice cream in the Reading Terminal Market. When the lactose started to take its toll, she moved out to Blue Bell and got a job at Villanova Law School. She’s been enjoying the area, getting her MBA, and enjoying the change of pace. Emmy has truly embraced the community at Crossfit Conshy and appreciates the support and comradery. She is so thankful for all of the amazing friendships that continue to encourage her to learn and be inspired!
