Every January, we take stock of where we are and lay out our intentions for the year ahead. 2023 is no exception. Here's what we're focused on.
What We're Building
CrossFit Conshohocken has been in Conshy for 10 years. In that time, we've coached 3,000+ people and built what we genuinely believe is the strongest fitness community in the area. We're not trying to be the biggest gym. We're trying to be the best gym — for the people who actually show up and do the work.
In 2023, our focus is deepening that. More coaching development. Tighter programming. Better member experience at every touchpoint from the free intro to long-term members who've been here for years.
Programming Direction
We're continuing to build on our existing strength-biased, constantly varied approach. Expect more intentional periodization blocks — we'll cycle through phases that emphasize strength, followed by conditioning-heavy blocks, with skill sessions woven throughout.
We're also putting more focus on accessory work and injury prevention. The members who train here for 5+ years are the ones who built a bulletproof body over time, not the ones who went all-out every day and paid for it.
Community
The community here is genuinely special — and we don't say that casually. We've watched members find spouses, start businesses together, and build friendships that extend well outside the gym. That's not something you can manufacture. It emerges from shared effort in a place where people actually care about each other.
Our job is to protect and nurture that. We'll keep the classes at a size that allows real coaching. We'll keep the culture one where showing up and working hard is what matters — not how much you lift or what you look like.
