Hey Everyone,
As Thanksgiving is quickly approaching, it won’t be long until we see jingle bells, cheesy hallmark movies, and everything turning merry and bright. While we are all grateful to share the excitement and thrill of the holiday season with one another, there are some less fortunate families out there that experience heavy stress and financial burdens during the holidays.
Each holiday season, CFC strives to bring the community together and give back to those that are less fortunate. This year, we have decided to adopt a family from The Colonial School District. What does this mean? While specific details are kept private, we understand that this family has reached out for help to provide gifts for their children who live and go to school right in our community. The family we have adopted this year is Family #169 and includes a five and an eight year old girl, as well as a nine year old boy.
So, how can you help? We are going to incorporate two ways to donate to our adopted family. Included below is a list of specific requested items for purchase.
Option A: You can Venmo @vinny-joyce a specific amount you feel comfortable donating. Keep in mind the QR code for this Venmo account is still in the lobby and is still active. Just use a gift or Christmas tree emoji in your comment and we’ll know its for this and not a Bang or Built Bar. Guys, even $5 goes a long way! We will use the collective donation to purchase items on the list.
Option B: You can purchase an item directly, but please email Brittany ([email protected]) if you choose to do so. This is to prevent a double purchase of the same item.
Option C: Hand any Coach a gift card or cash, anytime between now and 11/25.
We are asking that all donations, gifts, gift cards etc, please be received by 11/25/2021. We will drop off the gifts to the school on 12/3 for our family.
