Looking back on May, we can tell that Summer is unofficially here!  It was a month of sweat, PRs and of course, Murph.  Here are a few of this past month’s bright spots! Thank you for an amazing Murph turnout, we hope everyone had a blast! The month of May saw the return of several past members, including Cristinee S – Welcome back, you haven’t missed a beat. We had a great time celebrating, Ashlie with her Member of the Month Workout! Sam is officially on board as our newest Coach.  She has been doing an amazing job and even handled a 23-person session for her first class!  You can catch Coach Sam here at CFC Monday evenings, as well as Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings! Spring is here and everyone’s got fitness on the brain early and often. We’ve seen a welcomed spike in our AM class times and as a result will be formalizing Open Gym on Friday mornings. Please sign in using WODIFY on Friday morning if you plan to be at Open Gym in the Forge from 7am to 8am. As a reminder here are the Open Gym times that require sign-ins. Open gym is reserved for our unlimited members. Monday – Friday 5:30pm to 7:30pm Saturday 9am Friday 7am All other times of day, Open Gym is accessible whenever the gym is Open! Thank you

Congratulations to our March Member of the Month Caroline Garvey! Caroline grew up playing soccer, basketball, volleyball and dabbled in track. In highschool, she discovered rowing through her older brother Quinn and didn’t look back. She was eventually recruited D1 by UMASS and rowed all 4 years of college, winning 1 A10 conference championship. After graduating, Caroline enjoyed the newly found freedom and picked up new hobbies like hiking, biking and rock climbing. Like with rowing, she got into CrossFit because of Quinn and first joined in March of last year. Throughout the last year, there have been many accomplishments but the one’s she’s most proud of are: hitting a 305 PR deadlift, learning to handstand and do kipping pullups.
